I remember listening to patient problems and being personally awakened to my own shortcomings from what they were relating. Many times it almost matched exactly what was needed in my life, at that particular time. Not only did the patient serve my needs but moreover as aspects of the patients problems came to light, solutions came to the surface whereby both of our needs were met, synergy again!
So the Natural Therapist role is to teach the patient about proper lifestyle choices, however as it prevails, both parties can benefit. Of course most therapist / practitioners, whether orthodox or allopathic will not admit to this, and certainly not to the patient! Many solutions offered by the practitioner, and this applies to hands on work as well (bodywork), and even clinical hypnosis, can benefit both parties.
In the final equation it's the patient and the therapist that are both called to address somewhat similar issues (in context), and oftentimes both are given timely solutions! Synergy ( not coincidence ), is all around us, and when we learn to see it in our daily lives it can serve as a great tool to enhance our journey...Be Well!
